Our process has been refined over the years, and it is proven to get your project off the ground as quickly as possible without cutting corners. We target our process to meet your needs and expectations. You can count on us to be here for every step of the project from the initial consultation to the completion of the project. We want you to have a complete understanding of what's happening at every point.

The following process is not just designed to help streamline communication and expectations. We've also found that the process can help keep costs in check. If you'd like to go over this in person, that's fine! We offer free consultations and one-on-one service to meet your needs.

Your Initial Consultation

When you're ready to make your dreams a little more concrete, we'll start with a consultation. The initial consultation is always free. We'll meet with you in person to discuss your ideas and understand your needs. We invite you to bring in photos, floorplans, Pinterest boards, and any other wish lists you may have.

While we understand your dreams, we'll throw out ideas of our own. During this consultation, please tell us any concerns or questions you have. This is our chance to get to know each other, and we'll talk about pricing. You need to decide if we're the right building team for you!

The Construction Phase

If you're ready to move forward with N.J. Schmidt Realty and Construction, we'll get started. Communication is critical, and we'll keep you informed at every step. You'll get a schedule and contact information. Feel free to reach out to us at any time with questions or concerns.

If you have any requests during the construction, let us know. We're open to changes and additions to the plan. We'll provide you with a price quote for your approval before moving forward.

This can be a stressful part of the process, but our constant communication and one-on-one attention make all the difference. We strive to make building a home stress-free.

The Finishing Touches

As the construction finishes up, we'll make sure the details are all in order. When everything is done, we'll meet one final time to address any questions or concerns you may have. During this final consultation, we'll explain our warranty process in detail. We offer one year of protection over the construction and your home. In some cases, extended warranties may be available.

This will give you protection after we leave the site. The goal is to make sure you feel confident and ready to move in and start life in your dream home. We're proud to offer ongoing service if you need renovations or additions later. N.J. Schmidt Realty and Construction is here for you!
